I’ve been in pastoral ministry for three decades. The things I’ve seen in that time would fill the pages of several books.

Every church I’ve been involved in during my lifetime has been filled with hurting people. I’m sure that’s the case for nearly every church in America.

It’s been my responsibility over the years to counsel those hurting people and help them make some sense of the pain in their lives. Along the way, my family and I have experienced tremendous pain ourselves.

As long as we live on this earth, we’ll face difficulties. There are no exceptions. The Bible says in Job 14:1, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.”

But as I watched people go through difficult times while facing my own, I came to an important conclusion.

For every problem known to man, there’s a solution in the Word of God. Contained in its pages are some very simple truths that, when put into practice faithfully, can transform lives.

The young ladies coming through the doors of Hannah Grace Homes have experienced incredible pain and adversity in their relatively short lives. They’ve faced challenges that some of us can only imagine.

For many of them, it’s led to lives of constant distrust and anger at the world around them. They don’t believe real love exists because they’ve never seen it. They’re in desperate need of rescue from that way of thinking.

Our desire is to display for them, every single day, the kind of Christ-like love that can help them feel safe and secure in a world that has frightened and mistreated them terribly. By applying biblical principles as we guide them through this next phase of their lives, we believe we can help make an eternal difference.

Please keep us in your prayers as we undertake this vital mission for the sake of these girls.
